Tougher and more connected: Discover the new 2026 Nissan X‑Trail

Nissan has unveiled the new 2026 X Trail, introducing a refreshed version of one of the world’s most recognised electrified family SUVs. Building on 25 years of adventure-ready capability, the latest X Trail combines rugged design, advanced technology and enhanced comfort to better suit modern family life.

The updated exterior brings a bolder and more refined appearance, featuring a redesigned V-Motion grille, new alloy wheel designs, refreshed LED lighting and two new exterior colour options. The rugged styling remains at the heart of the X Trail, while subtle refinements give it a more modern and premium presence on the road.

Inside, the cabin has been upgraded with improved materials, enhanced comfort and greater practicality. Features across the range include a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, three-zone climate control and flexible seating arrangements, making the X Trail ideal for both everyday driving and family adventures.

Technology has also been significantly enhanced for 2026. NissanConnect now features Google built-in for the first time, giving drivers access to Google Assistant, navigation, apps and over-the-air updates directly through the vehicle. An upgraded 3D Around View Monitor system provides enhanced visibility with multiple camera angles, while improved ProPILOT Assist technology delivers smoother and more intelligent driver assistance.

Power comes from Nissan’s innovative e-POWER hybrid technology, delivering electric-drive responsiveness and refinement without the need to plug in. Optional e-4ORCE all-wheel drive adds even greater confidence and stability in a wide range of driving conditions.

The adventurous N-Trek grade also returns with even bolder styling, waterproof interior materials, exclusive detailing and practical features designed for active lifestyles and outdoor adventures.

The new 2026 Nissan X Trail is available to order now in Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, N-Trek and Tekna grades, with prices starting from £38,220.
