WEST END MOTORS CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF KEEPING CORNWALL MOVING

West End Motors is celebrating a remarkable milestone, marking 50 years since the family-run Bodmin dealership began its long-standing association with Datsun and Nissan.

The West End Motors story first began in 1960, when the business opened as a small local motor dealership. By the mid-1970s, it had been appointed as a Datsun main dealer for Cornwall, representing a manufacturer that was becoming increasingly well known for its reliable, innovative and accessible cars.

When the Datsun name transitioned to Nissan during the 1980s, West End Motors continued the journey as a Nissan dealership, building a relationship with the brand that has now spanned five decades.

Although the cars, technology and motor industry have changed enormously during that time, West End Motors’ commitment to its customers and the wider Cornish community has remained at the heart of the business.
